Dataset of impurity concentrations and third-harmonic absorption coefficients in DKDP crystals

Listed in ScienceDB

Description

This dataset contains the raw data used in the paper "Effect of Trace Metal Impurities and Their Segregation Mechanisms on the Third-Harmonic Absorption of DKDP Crystals" for the "correlation analysis between impurity content and absorption coefficients." The dataset includes the third-harmonic (351 nm) absorption coefficients for 13 DKDP crystal samples, as well as the concentrations of 11 impurity elements (in ppm); the sample numbers are identical to those in Dataset 1.

The impurity elements include: Al, Ba, Co, Cr, Cu, Fe, Sb, Sr, Ti, Y, and Zn. These data correspond one-to-one with the absorption coefficients in Dataset 1 and can serve as the foundational data for the correlation analysis between the two datasets. The data file is in CSV format and contains the following columns:Sample ID (Sample Number)Absorption Coefficient (cm⁻¹) (terahertz absorption coefficient)Al (ppm), Ba (ppm), Co (ppm), Cr (ppm), Cu (ppm), Fe (ppm), Sb (ppm), Sr (ppm), Ti (ppm), Y (ppm), Zn (ppm)This dataset can be used directly to reproduce the statistical analysis process described in the paper regarding the correlation between various impurity elements and absorption coefficients.Data

Note

The concentration values provided in this dataset are the actual internal concentrations of the samples after conversion. The conversion is based on the dilution factor during the sample digestion process; the original ICP-MS dilution solution measurements are not included in this dataset. Data points deviating from the normal range were excluded from the statistical analysis, and the corresponding cells are marked with “/”.

The Y content in several samples was close to the detection limit (0.0004 ppm), resulting in an abnormal data distribution; therefore, it was excluded from the key impurity analysis in the paper. The original data is retained in this dataset for users to handle at their discretion.
