COB Snow Emergency Parking

Vehicle owners can move their cars free of charge to these parking lots as a way to relieve street parking congestion and make snowplowing easier. The City of Buffalo Department of Public Works, Parks & Streets requires residential street winter parking changes to afford the DPW the ability to clear the street to maintain emergency access where current parking configurations prevent this important objective.

The main focus of the parking restrictions are to maximize the DPW's ability to provide adequate snow clearing services and maintain emergency access without creating a hardship for residents. Parking restrictions are enforced by the Department of Parking.
