Annual Import Data Bank Files

The agency produced this series as part of its program to compile and disseminate data relating to the foreign trade of the United States. This series was prepared for government and non-government users to compute statistics on international trade and the balance of trade.

This series conta ins annual summary data on receipts of commodities from a particular country by customs district. Each record contains commodity code, country of origin, district of entry, district of unlading, rate provision and type, consumption quantity and value, general quantity and value, and value and shipping weight by vessel and air. Electronic errata files contain corrected data.
