Panel Study of Family Dynamics: RII2000

Now we apply for funds for the next 3 years, expecting to accomplish 5,000 points by the year 2001. The target of our survey is neither individual nor household, but family. Other than the individual who is randomly sampled and face-to-face interviewed, we plan to telephone interview the spouse, parents, children, sibling of the individual, and the parents/sibling of the individual\'s spouse.

So a sample point of family includes all information of the above-mentioned group. Future dynamic analysis will be based on continued pursue of the same family point. Despite that we do not have available data for hypothesis testing atthis stage, in this proposal we provide several hypotheses ready to be tested when the data set is available.
