Data from conventional triaxial and triaxial cyclic loading and unloading tests on marble in the Jinping Underground Laboratory.

Listed in ScienceDB

The Jinping Underground Laboratory, which has a maximum buried depth of approximately 2400 m, is currently the deepest and largest underground laboratory in the world.

Description

This study aims to investigate the deformation and failure characteristics of marble from the Jinping Underground Laboratory. To achieve this, a series of triaxial tests, including conventional triaxial compression tests and triaxial cyclic loading tests, were conducted on the marble samples.
