I created this file, with no changes, from SYSTAT file = ARS.sys, which I created on 21 Sept 1989 Sex = 1 = male, and Sex = 2 = female I checked this file TWO TIMES at creation in 1989 Year = year for annual reproductive success = ARS Sexual partners = number of different males with whom BTPD female copulated Litter = 0 = no litter produced = no weaning Litter = 1 = female DID wean a litter REMEMBER: Sex = 2 = data from FEMALE BTPDs Weanlings = number of offspring that emerged from natal burrow-entrance = weanlings = litter size for females Mean body mass of weanlings = mean body mass of all offspring in litter I use single Mean body mass of weanlings per litter Male weanlings = number of weanlings that were males Female weanlings = number of weanlings that were female Yearlings = number of weanlings that survived for >=9 months after first emergence from natal nursery-burrow For some stats I use litter (= 0 or 1) or I create variable = Somewean from weanlings (= 0 or 1).

Statistics are almost identical for with each designation of litter size = 0 or >=1, but are not exactly the same. I have SYSTAT output for all three estimates in Fig 19.6. This EXCEL file does not show variable = Somewean, which I created with the transform option in SYSTAT.
