<p> An offer to join research on marine biodiversity in 2011 provided opportunity to find and collect sea cucumbers (Holothuroidea, Echinodermata) in a rocky shore.
Description
Collection was conducted in September 2011 at a small bay of Prigi, southern coast of East Java. Seven sea cucumber species were discovered, consisted of three species of medium-size group and common for Indonesia, and four species of small-size group which have been rarely reported.
This inventory may be the first taxonomical report on sea cucumbers for the given location. </p> <p> Oseanologi dan Limnologi di Indonesia, Vol. 38, No. 2. Hal. 241-254 </p>
