SOHO/Global Oscillations at Low Frequencies (GOLF) Data Archive

The GOLF experiment on the SOHO mission aims to study the internal structure of the sun by measuring the spectrum of global oscillations in the frequency range 10**-7 to 10**-2 Hz.
Description
Both p and g mode oscillations will be investigated, with the emphasis on the low order long period waves which penetrate the solar core. Two levels of data are available through the SoHO archive: - the level 1, a time series of observed intensities (and an IDL routine to read the level 1 daily files).
All the daily files (regularly updated) of observed intensities are available. - the level 2, a time series of line-of-sight calibrated velocities will be released in the future.
