NYC Climate Budgeting Report: Resiliency Exposure Forecast - Outdoor Heat - Tree Canopy

Projections are based on expected tree canopy growth maintained across jurisdictions - requiring efforts by private and public landowners - and expanded through the NYC Parks Department's Neighborhood Tree Planting Program. Coverage estimates are derived from Land Cover raster data from the city's Light Detection and Ranging (LiDAR) assessments.
