BIFoR FACE is a forest scale CO2 enrichment facility.
Description
The woodland contains mature Quercus robur, with Corylus avellana understorey, in a semi-natural setting. The experiment fumigates patches of woodland with CO2-enriched air to elevate ambient conditions to +150 ppm above ambient.
