Transcriptome sequencing analysis of culm brittle phenotypes in rice TAC4/TAC4L double knockout mutants

Listed in NCBI GEO

In rice, simultaneous knockout of TAC4L (LOC_Os04g19140) and TAC4 (LOC_Os02g25230) resulted in a brittle culm and leaf phenotype, whereas single knockout of either TAC4L or TAC4 did not produce such a brittle phenotype.

Description

To elucidate the regulatory pathway underlying the brittle phenotype mediated by TAC4L and TAC4 in rice, we performed transcriptome sequencing using the penultimate culm at the heading stage.
