[Adapted from Overview of some of Bartholomew Digital Map Data] "mimas.ac.uk/maps/barts/barts2.html" The Bartholomew digital data set is a vector layered map data set comprising of point, line and area features. The data set is structured into both geographic areas and thematic layers. The data sets are divided into different databases representing different scales.
These databases include the following: Bartholomew Great Britain 1:200,000 Data Bartholomew Europe 1:1,000,000 Data Bartholomew London 1:50,000 Data Bartholomew World 1:20,000,000 Data For more information, please visit the Bartholomew Digital Map Data overview, "mimas.ac.uk/maps/barts/barts2.html ". Access to the data is restricted to those individuals who have registered with MIMAS. Only those individuals belonging to a University or College that posseses a Bartholomew site license through the Combined Higher Education Software Team (CHEST). A list of the Universities and Colleges with a site license is available at "mimas.ac.uk/maps/barts/barts6.html".
