<p>Ra<sub>eq</sub> (Bq kg<sup>−1</sup>), <i>D</i> (nGy h<sup>−1</sup>), <i>H</i><sub>ex</sub> and <i>H</i><sub>in</sub> (dimensionless), AEDE<sub>out</sub> (mSv y<sup>−1</sup>), and ELCR (dimensionless) were calculated with <a href="plosone.org/article/info:doi/10.1371/journal.pone.0348187#pone.0348187.e002" target="_blank">Equations (2)</a>–<a href="plosone.org/article/info:doi/10.1371/journal.pone.0348187#pone.0348187.e007" target="_blank">(7)</a>, using the <sup>238</sup>U-series activity as a proxy for <sup>226</sup>Ra.
Activity concentrations are identical to Table 1; not-detected <sup>40</sup>K was treated as zero. Sample IDs 30, 32, and 42 are absent because a series activity could not be quantified. Workshop sample values are reference calculations and were not used in the residential interpretation.
