This dataset contains 921600 artistic character images with a resolution of 320 × 320, consisting of 30 character shapes and 30 character effects combined in pairs to form 900 character shape character effect categories.
Description
The font library includes 10 standard printing (SP), 10 creative printing (CP), 5 handwriting (HW), and 5 calligraphic (CG) styles, covering a variety of forms from regular printing structures to free-form writing structures.
The character effects library contains 30 types of fine visual effects, including natural elements such as rocks and flames, as well as industrial materials such as fabrics and metals, and covering various appearance expressions such as textures, gradients, reliefs, shadows, and 3D rendering. SSAFv2 contains a total of 52 English characters and 972 Chinese characters. To expand the stroke and structural coverage of Chinese characters, this article uses 775 Chinese characters from Optset and supplements them with 197 commonly used Chinese characters.

The stroke count of the selected characters covers 1-24 strokes. Thus, the three attributes of characters, glyph, and character effect form 921600 character glyph character effect triplets. Among them, each character corresponds to 900 character form effect combinations, and each character form and effect corresponds to 30720 images.
Each character form effect combination contains all 1024 characters. Therefore, SSAFv2 provides a unique artistic character image for each possible attribute triplet, maintaining a balanced distribution within character, glyph, and effect categories, without the long tail problem caused by missing combinations. The complete attribute combination relationship also provides a sufficient data foundation for the model to learn the combination rules between characters, glyph shapes, and character effects.
