These included taxa that were: (i) claimed to have been rediscovered in the literature but not meeting the specific inclusion criteria used in the study, or (ii) listed in one of the source databases but without a rediscovery claim in the literature, or (iii) documented as rediscoveries in the scientific literature but for which not enough information could be gathered to include them in the analysis or to determine whether they meet the inclusion criteria.
