Supplemental table 3.docx

Listed in DataCite

Systolic arterial pressure, DAP, MAP and HR declined (time, p<0.01) similarly for older men and women and younger men and women (group × time, p>0.05, supplemental Table 3 ) during the 3min recovery from the CPT.

Description

MSNA burst incidence trended towards recovering differently between groups (group × time, p=0.05, supplemental Table 3 ) because older men did not have the same increase during CPT and therefore had little changes throughout recovery, where older women and young men and women all declined similarly through the 3min recovery.

MSNA frequency declined (time, p<0.01) similar to that of MSNA incidence (group × time, p=0.06, supplemental Table 3 ). Recovery of total MSNA amplitude (%) was elevated at baseline at 30s of recovery for the younger men and women and then declined to baseline levels from 60s-180s, with no differences from baseline throughout recovery for the older men and women (group × time interaction, p=0.03, supplemental Table 3).
