The first record of Zelus renardii Kolenati, 1857 (Heteroptera: Reduviidae) on the island of La Gomera (Canary Islands, Spain) is presented. The known distribution of the species in the Canary archipelago is summarised. Resumen: Nuevas citas de Heteroptera de las Islas Canarias (España), XVII. Se presenta la primera cita de Zelus renardii Kolenati, 1857 (Heteroptera: Reduviidae) en la isla de La Gomera (Islas Canarias, España). Se resume la distribución conocida de la especie en el archipiélago canario.
