Available in most rural enterprise zones, the Long-Term Rural Enterprise Zone Facilities Program offers a property tax abatement of up to 15 years, as compared to the Standard Program's three to five years.
Description
Under this program – beginning after the calendar year in which the facility is permitted or ready for use and occupancy – the qualifying facility of a certified business firm is not subject to local property taxes over the following 7 to 15 years.
Prior to that point (e.g., during construction), facility property would also be exempt. This dataset includes company specific information for all current and proposed facilities as of September 2026.
