Measurements of oceanic methane, nitrous oxide and ammonium made during the Sea Vigil 27D research cruise as part of LOIS (RACS) in the Humber Estuary, UK, in November 1995

The cruise took place on 24th November 1995 with a spatial coverage of +54N latitude and +0E longitude. The data set consists of: -9 measurements of the concentration of nitrous oxide (N2O) per unit volume of the water column (dissolved plus reactive particulate phase) by gas chromatography; -9 measurements of the saturation of nitrous oxide (N2O) in the water column by gas chromatography and computation from concentration; -9 measurements of the concentration of methane (CH4) per unit volume of the water column (dissolved plus reactive particulate phase) by gas chromatography; -9 measurements of the saturation of methane (CH4) in the water column (dissolved phase), computed from concentration; and, -32 measurements of the concentration of ammonium (NH4) per unit volume of the water column (dissolved plus reactive particulate 0.4um phase) by filtration and colorimetric autoanalysis.
