Spontaneous spreading movie of PCE10:[60]PCBM

Listed in DataCite

Spontaneous spreading movie of a chlorobenzene solution containing the photoactive materials PCE10 and [60]PCBM to which DIO is added as co-solvent.

Description

Figure 4.21 and chapter 4.2 of the thesis. Parent item: Spontaneous spreading of active layers for organic solar cells Movies show the fabrication of active layers for organic solar cells by the spontaneous spreading technique.

Here, a Petri dish is filled with water serving as a substrate for film formation. The resulting film can be transferred to a device substrate. This method allows the fabrication of novel solar cell architectures by transferring multiple layers on top of each other.
