Myriapods (Chilopoda, Diplopoda) of PSU's Botanical Garden

This study was conducted between 2012 and 2024 using pitfall traps at 23 different sampling sites (10 indoor, 13 outdoor). The dataset includes 1,415 records of myriapods occurences, representing 16 species from 10 genera and 4 orders and 2, 869 individuals.

The dataset includes representatives of six families: Julidae (20 records, 20 individuals), Lithobiidae (244 records, 403 individuals), Polydesmidae (302 records, 1082 individuals), Blaniulidae (273 records, 1099 individuals), Geophilidae (28 records, 32 individuals), and Henicopidae (92 records, 227 individuals). All records have been georeferenced and linked to essential metadata such as the date, altitude, type of habitat, information about the collection method, and the amount of effort.
