Flora of the Lower Amu Darya State Biosphere Reserve

The data were compiled as part of dissertation research conducted during 2022–2026. The research aims to determine the species composition of the reserve’s flora and develop a grid-based map showing the spatial distribution of plant species.

The dataset includes 216 unique taxon names representing 210 species, four subspecies, and two varieties, distributed among 140 genera and 41 families after taxonomic data standardization. The most extensively represented families are Amaranthaceae – 270 specimens; Poaceae – 106; Asteraceae – 104; Fabaceae – 61; Tamaricaceae – 54; Polygonaceae – 38; Brassicaceae – 31; Cyperaceae – 28; Boraginaceae – 23; and Plantaginaceae – 22.
