Description
This report consists of (a) an introduction to the problem of 'restrictive practices' within the general context of asylum procedures of European countries and (b) specific conclusions and recommendations regarding (i) procedures at borders, detention, refoulement and extradition; (ii) specific measures of deterrence during the pre-asylum period; (iii) responsibility for the examination of asylum requests. Part b is provided in English, French and German.
