Transcriptome profiling of penile tissues in a rat model of hypospadias by RNA sequencing

Listed in NCBI GEO

Gene expression dysregulation plays an important role in the pathogenesis of congenital malformations, including hypospadias.

Description

To characterize transcriptomic alterations associated with hypospadias, RNA sequencing (RNA-seq) was performed on penile tissues collected from normal rats and a rat model of hypospadias. These datasets provide comprehensive gene expression profiles that facilitate the investigation of molecular mechanisms and signaling pathways involved in the development of hypospadias.
