Abundances and composition of sympagic protists from the Arctic Ocean

This dataset contains archival data on the abundance and taxonomic composition of sympagic protists associated with Arctic sea ice.
Description
The data were collected between 1998 and 2017 in the Canadian and European Arctic. Samples were obtained from sea-ice cores, with emphasis on the lower ice layer where sympagic protist assemblages are typically concentrated.
