Multi‑indicator feature matrix data for climate‑driven critical transition analysis of global soil microbial carbon dynamics

It contains assembled metagenome‑assembled genomes (MAGs) from global soil samples, and functional annotation outputs obtained from EggNOG database alignment. The raw MAG dataset is provided as a single zip (Mag_genomes.zip) archive containing three original tar files (submit_MAGs.tar, mag_filtered_final, submit_1_MAGs.tar).

Users should unzip the uploaded file to recover the three tar archives for downstream processing.. Also provided is the cleaned multi‑dimensional feature matrix, where raw observational variables went through standard pre‑processing steps including outlier filtering, missing‑value handling and removal of non‑relevant predictors. Both biotic and environmental predictors relevant to the research objective were kept in the final matrix; rows represent individual sample observations and columns correspond to screened explanatory variables.
