This layer is a georeferenced raster image of the historic paper map entitled: Plan of the city of New York, Tiebout, sculpt.
Description
It was published by T. & J. Swords for the New-York directory, and register, for the year 1792. Scale [ca. 1:12,500].
Covers lower Manhattan and portions of Brooklyn. The image inside the map neatline is georeferenced to the surface of the earth and fit to the Universal Transverse Mercator (UTM) Zone 18N NAD83 projection. All map collar and inset information is also available as part of the raster image, including any inset maps, profiles, statistical tables, directories, text, illustrations, index maps, legends, or o ther information associated with the principal map.
