Catalog of 15th Century Polisigillic Charters

The focal point is primarily on the archival collections of Warsaw and Wien, however, I also endeavor to discover new findings in the archival material of our southern neighbors. My intention is to uncover diplomas that are that are important in the political historical sense and would be of great help in reconstructing the circle of those, who played a crucial role in external and internal affairs.

For instance, the members of Sigismund of Luxemburg’s opposition in 1403, the signatories of the Peace of Ľubovňa, the supporters of Władysław III of Poland (Ulászló I), or the envoys of Matthias Hunyadi sent to the Holy Roman Emperor, Frederick III. In addition to publishing the seals I undertake the task of processing the diplomas in articles with analyzing the political background and presenting the persona of the owner of the seal.
