3D Models of Les Rois 2 associated teeth and Enamel-Dentine Junctions (EDJ)

These models have been used in Isle de Beauchaine et al. 2026. The Dentition of the Aurignacian Mandible Les Rois 2, France: New data and Taxonomic Reassessment, It is composed of 18 files, 2 files per teeth: one for the Enamel-Dentine Junction (EDJ), and one for the whole teeth (crown and root).

Data acquisition Observation and quantification of the Les Rois 2 dental characteristics were conducted on both original specimens and from microtomographic data. Teeth from Les Rois 2 were ct-scanned at the AST-RX platform of the MNHN in Paris (model “v| tome|x L 240”, Baker Hughes Digital Solutions), with a voltage of 120 kV, a current of 165 μA, a filter of 0.5 mm Cu and an exposure time per frame of 1000 ms. The voxel size is 31.24 μm.
