Early maladaptive schemas and misophonia: incremental contributions beyond personality traits and general psychopathology

This dataset contains anonymized data from a cross-sectional study investigating the relationships between misophonia severity, early maladaptive schemas (EMSs), personality trait domains, and psychological symptoms in adults.
Description
The sample included 144 participants (72 individuals with misophonia and 72 matched controls). Participants completed self-report measures assessing misophonia symptoms and impairment (DMQ), early maladaptive schemas (YSQ-S3), maladaptive personality traits (PID-5-BF), depressive symptoms (BDI-II), and state-trait anxiety (STAI-Y).
Sociodemographic variables are also included. Data were collected online and anonymized prior to public sharing.
