Carload Waybill Sample Files

This series contains annual statistical samples of railroad traffic. The data include carload information (type, number and ownership); hazardous / bulk material in boxcar; commodity code; freight weight; all rail / intermodal code; type of move via water; estimated short line miles; freig ht rate territory (origin and termination); freight transportation and freight rate territory (origin and termination); transit charges; interchange states; and accounting period.
