Methods
Using the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses Extension for Scoping Reviews guidelines, a scoping review was conducted using a systematic search across seven databases. <br>Results: From 2,225 records, 61 studies across 22 countries were included, predominantly from the United States (27.8%). Modified GT (26%) and constructivist GT (24.5%) were the most utilized approaches. Data collection mostly involved semi-structured interviews (47.5%), with NVivo (27%) being the common data analysis software.
Notably, while the majority of studies focused on community pharmacy (54%), most (60.6%) did not progress to full theory development. <br>Discussion: Future research must prioritize methodological rigor to achieve authentic theory development.</p>
