Integration theory would predict that refugees who share language, culture, religion, ethnicity and even family and social networks with their hosts would be fully integrated into mainstream society.
Description
This paper examines the case of Greek Cypriot refugees, who seem to continually resist integration through self-description, social affiliation, and through their persistent preoccupation with return, even as they enjoy full legal, economic, and cultural integration.
