Factors influencing English general practitioners’ referrals to specialist sleep services: a qualitative study using the COM-B model: qualitative interview data

Data collected as part of a qualitative study to explore factors influencing access to sleep services for individuals with symptoms of obstructive sleep apnoea and narcolepsy, from the perspective of General Practitioners (GPs) in England.
Description
Participants were 30 GPs from from areas of England: South London, East Midlands and South West. There was one pilot interview.
The data collection consists of (1) transcripts of research interviews (2) The interview guide. Following a pilot interview (ID1), 30 GPs were interviewed using an interview guide informed by the COM-B model of behaviour change.
