Explaining participation in insurgency in Balochistan, Pakistan: trajectories and patterns of radicalization

Specifically, it focuses on why and how only a small number of Baloch individuals have become radicalized and participated in insurgency/violence, with even fewer engaging in extreme violence (suicidal insurgency),while many others, despite similar conditions and influences, have not.

This thesis conducts qualitative comparisons between different categories of actors to explain why some people participate in insurgency/violence and others do not.<br> <br><i>Thesis is embargoed until 31 July 2030.</i>
