Matched dataset of Fengyun 3D MWRI Level 1 swath brightness temperature data with ERA5 reanalysis data and iQuam in-situ data

The MWRI measurements cover the latitude range from 60°S to 60°N and include both open-ocean and nearshore regions within 0–110 km of the coast; for each MWRI sample, brightness temperatures from all ten channels are retained together with latitude and longitude.

The matched ERA5 variables, provided at 0.25° × 0.25° spatial resolution and 1-hour temporal resolution, include SST, total cloud cover, total precipitation, and the 10 m U and V wind components. The iQuam observations were selected from Drifters, Tropical moorings, Argo floats, and High-resolution drifters with quality level 5, and only latitude, longitude, and SST were retained. MWRI samples were matched to the ERA5 and iQuam data using a spatial window of 10 km and a temporal window of 0.5 hours.
