This dataset contains mammal occurrence records (November 2023 - February 2026) from the Western Ghats, collected using a mobile collection application (EpiCollect5).
Description
A few reptiles are also added opportunistically. This includes data from three data sources: 1.
Western Ghats Mammals(five.epicollect.net/project/western-ghats-mammals (private project), 12th July 2024 - 28th February 2026, n=4139) 2. Gaur Project (five.epicollect.net/project/gaur-project (public project), 4th Jan 2024 - 24th Apr 2024, n=88) 3. Monika_Gaur_Survey(five.epicollect.net/project/monika-gaur-survey (public project), 28th Nov 2023 - 2nd Dec 2023, n=32) 47 taxa are recorded in this dataset.
