The dataset presents occurrence records of beetles in the family Scolytidae commonly known as Bark beetles housed at the natural history collections at the National Museums of Kenya.
Description
Previously, this was considered as a distinct family but they are now regarded as a sub family (Scolytinae) within the true weevils (Curculionidae). The specimens were collected over many years from within Kenya and other parts of Africa.
