Speech and voice production in healthy older adults with or without amateur singing experience

The aim of the study was to examine different components of speech production in younger and older adults with or without amateur singing experience using a battery of tests that included a voice production tasks, a standardized passage reading and a maximal performance task (diadochokinetic rates task [DDK]).
Description
Data were collected on 38 healthy amateur singers (aged 20–87 years, 23 females) and 40 healthy non-musician controls (aged 23–88 years, 19 females).
This dataset contains the aggregated datasets that were used for group-level statistical analysis.
