Medical x-ray tomography of Indiana Limestone: single and dual-energy processing codes and petrophysical images results

This dataset comprises experimental data and processing files from the petrophysical characterization of Indiana Limestone samples using medical X-ray computed tomography.
Description
The acquisitions were performed using single-energy CT (SECT) and dual-energy CT (DECT) techniques to evaluate petrophysical properties and their spatial variability within the samples. The dataset includes raw tomographic images, computational codes used for image processing, and results from the analyses.
Dual-energy data processing was applied to estimate properties such as bulk density, effective atomic number, and total porosity, whereas single-energy data were used to estimate effective porosity. The dataset supports the evaluation, reproduction, and reuse of the methodology for carbonate rock characterization using medical CT, including the application of DECT and SECT for spatially resolved petrophysical characterization.
