The respondents were also asked questions so that they could be grouped according to geographic and social variables. Topics of interest include: accepting lower wages; the best political party to handle problems; Canada's most important problem; changing economic situations; changing wages; comparing household finances; cruise missile negotiations; the declining role of the husband; the effects of working women on the family; household financial prospects; opinions about Broadbent as NDP leader; opinions about Clark as leader of the Conservative party; opinions about cruise missile testing; opinions about Trudeau as Prime Minister; phrases that apply to Broadbent; phrases that apply to Clark; phrases that apply to Trudeau; political predictions; and the Queen abdicating to Prince Charles.
