Raw 16S rRNA Gene Amplicon Sequencing Dataset of Bacterial and Archaeal Communities in Deep-Sea Hydrothermal Sulfide Chimneys from the Southwest Indian Ridge and Central Indian Ridge

This dataset includes the original sequencing data of bacterial and archaeal 16S rRNA gene amplicons from deep-sea hydrothermal sulfide chimney samples in the Longqi and Duanqiao hydrothermal areas of the Southwest Indian Ridge (SWIR) and the Kairei hydrothermal area of the Central Indian Ridge (CIR).
Description
A total of 6 sulfide chimneys with different hydrothermal activity states were collected for the study, and samples were taken from different spatial layers according to the chimney structure.
A total of 18 spatial samples were obtained. Perform amplicon sequencing on the 16S rRNA genes of bacteria and archaea separately to analyze the composition, diversity, and spatial distribution characteristics of microbial communities in different chimney bodies, hydrothermal activity states, and spatial layers. This dataset can provide basic data for the study of microbial community structure, spatial heterogeneity, and differential community assembly mechanisms of bacteria and archaea in deep-sea hydrothermal sulfide chimneys.
