Congestion data of 50 Hertz 2015-2017

The data sets comprise hourly congestion data of the transmission system operator 50 Hertz from 2015 to 2017. 50 Hertz GmbH and TenneT GmbH are the TSOs in Germany, which suffer the most from congestion in their grids (96 % of German transmission grid congestion appears here).
Description
While other German TSOs do not publish their respective congestion data, 50 Hertz GmbH provides hourly values. The data is not preprocessed but merged into one file to allow faster analysis.
This data is part of a larger data set on congestion in the German electricity grids from 2015 to 2017. The related datasets are referenced below. The publication of this data set was supported by the German Research Foundation (DFG) as part of the Research Training Group GRK 2153: Energy Status Data - Informatics Methods for its Collection, Analysis and Exploitation.
