Road Weather Network Data

In the PLOWS 2009-2010 domain the states included are Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, South Carolina, South Dakota, and Wisconsin. The data are in comma-delimited ASCII format and were made available by the FHWA Clarus Initiative who collected the data from the various state and province transportation departments.

The data are in gzipped tar files by hour. Each hour contains files every twenty minutes containing all observations during that twenty minute period. These data have not been quality controlled.
