Sequence data for two different peroxinectins in salmon lice, Lepeophtheirus salmonis.
Description
Obtained antibody responses post vaccination. Data from challenge with infective stages of L salmonis in naive and vaccinated fish with counting of lice numbers at moveable stages.
Data show that one of the peroxinectins are indispensable for lice development. Vaccinated fish have reduced numbers of sea lice attached post vaccination and challenge but not down to significant reduction.
