oogle Trends (GT) serves as a resource for tracking changes in search interest over time by employing a measure known as Relative Search Volume (RSV).
Description
RSV indicates the popularity of a search term in all Google searches within a specified region or time frame. The data is standardised according to region and time, then scaled from 0 to 100, with 100 representing peak interest for that term.
Users may tailor the analysis by search term, location, period, category, and search type. The results are anonymous and open-source, enabling objective comparisons of public interest across different times and locations
