A Comprehensive Dataset for Analyzing the Impact of Tourism

We used a survey questionnaire to collect the responses of permanent residents, tourists, service holders, businessmen, fishermen, and housewives. Almost 537 responses were gathered by volunteers with face-to-face interviews who were divided into several groups from different regions, including West Side, East Side, North Side, Northern Area, Kandirpar, Majhir Par, South Side, Chera Dwip, Jetty Area, and Western Bazar.

We conducted the convergent validity and reliability test of each sub-construct, where earning capacity, social sustainability, and living standards can significantly measure the impact of tourism on Saint Martin Island. This dataset can be divided into training, testing, and validation subsets, and different data analytics models can be employed to detect significant features of tourism for the sightseeing spots.
