His partner had conization for cervical dysplasia with human papillomavirus infection, a procedure in which part of the cervix is removed due to cervical dysplasia. Mohs micrographic surgery confirmed a superficial epidermoid carcinoma. The tumor was positive for HPV 56, supporting genital-digital transmission.
