Uncovering Test Pilots' Risk Framework

Data reports the risk management framework used by experimental flight test crews in undertaking uniquely hazardous activities that include the consequence of death - precluding any ability to learn in subsequent iterations of the activity. Data was used to investigate the risk management framework adopted by the flight test crews to risk manage their work, with the objective of generalising this knowledge for application beyond the flight test profession.
