The flora at Mula river, from Wakad to Bopodi, Pune, India

The survey was carried out through an intensive citizen science project covering about 4 kilometers on both sides of the Mula river, where this pristine, dense and biodiversity-rich riparian forest is present, right at the heart of the city. The study involved more than 200 citizens and college students actively observing these flora over a period of five months, on almost all weekends including a few difficult rainy days.

Botanical experts guided these observers in the survey for identification and later cleanse the data.
